During AiOP, mobile gardens, maps and signs designed by Lang students marked locations along 14th street to indicate possible green sites. A map was handed out to participants to encourage a walking tour of these sites. Carts and found objects equipped as mobile gardens were paraded along 14th street to the designated spots. Sidewalk paraders interacted with the public by answering questions and providing information. Students from Personal Mapping in NYC and The Skybridge Curatorial Project (Simonetta Moro), Food for Growth (Visiting Artist Eve Mosher's workshop), and History and Theory of Exhibitions (Janet
Kraynak), and artist Tattfoo Tan collaborated on this multi-media, multi layered project. The carts, signs and maps were then displayed at the Skybridge Art & Sound Space at Eugene Lang College from October 27th to November 20th, 2009 (see Grow Your Own project).
